Today's activity is on Pg 208 (#1-5) Tuesday October 27  - Hey everyone, today we are wrapping up section 6.2, and we are looking at applying fraction division in a word problem. Moreover, we looked at the math rule to help us divide a whole number by a fraction. Today we are working on the:  Chapter 4 Practice Test Pg 152 (#1-14) Tuesday October 20  - Today we are writing the Chapter 4 UNIT TEST . All the best! Also, we looked at how to model fractions with pattern blocks. I hope you enjoyed the long weekend with your family! Tuesday October 13  - Hey everyone, today we are reviewing for tomorrow's quiz. Moreover, we are using class time to wrap up section 4.3.  Today's assignment is on Pg 142 (#9-16) Wednesday October 14  - Today we are writing the Ch. 4 QUIZ.  (On sections 4.1 - 4.3, definitions, grids converting from Fraction to Decimal to Percent and vise versa, and finding the percent of a number). Below is the Math agenda for the week of Monday October 5 - Friday October 9 for my Grade 8 & 9 classes:  Grade 8 Monday October 5  - Hey everyone, today we wrote the Chapter 2 UNIT TEST on (Ratios, Rates and Proportional Reasoning.  If you were away please let me know when you come to Math class so I can arrange some time to write the test. Tuesday October 6  - Today we are starting section 4.2, and we are looking at converting fractions to decimals, and decimals to percents.
