Monday October 19 - Hey everyone, today we are reviewing for tomorrow's unit test. Today we are working on the:
Chapter 4 Practice Test Pg 152 (#1-14)
Tuesday October 20 - Today we are writing the Chapter 4 UNIT TEST. All the best!
Wednesday October 21 - Hi everyone, today we started Chapter 6 "Fraction Operations." Moreover, we took sometime to understand and define the vocabulary involved in this unit. Also, we looked at how to model fractions with pattern blocks. Furthermore, we looked at how to multiply a whole number with a fraction.
Today's activity is on Pg 198 (#1-4)
Thursday October 22 - Hi everyone, today we looked at multiplying a whole number with a fraction using a model and a diagram (number line). Moreover, we applied the use of this idea in a word problem.
Today's activity is on Pg 202 (#4-9,11,14-16)
Friday October 23 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the MIPI in Math class, this is a 50 minute test with mainly multiple choice questions and a few numeric response questions. This test is to collect base-line data in math and will not be used for marks or towards your report card grades.

Monday October 19 - Hey everyone, today we are wrapping up Section 10.2 and we are looking at applying the perpendicular bisector property in a real world scenario.
Today's activity is on Pg 390 (#8-18)
Tuesday October 20 - Today we are starting section 10.3, and we will be learning about Tangents, Tangents to a circle, and the Tangent Chord Relationship. Moreover, we will be looking at applying this concept in an application problem.
Today's activity is on Pg 399 (#1-5)
Wednesday October 21- Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 10 QUIZ on (sections 10.1-10.2). All the best!
Thursday October 22 - Today we are working in section 10.3, and we are looking at applying the concept of tangents within circle geometry. We will be specifically solving real-life applications of how tangents work.
Today's activity is on Pg 400 (#6-10,14,17,18,20)
Friday October 23 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the MIPI in Math class, this is a 50 minute test with mainly multiple choice questions along with a few numeric response questions.
