 Below is the Math AGENDA for the week of Monday June 13 - Friday June 17 for my Grade 8 & 9 Math classes:

Grade 8

Monday June 13 - Hey everyone, today are starting section 12.4 and we'll be looking at M.C Esher style tessellations. 

Please refer to the section 12.4 NOTES in the gr. 9 notes tab on my Blog for details and for review. 

For extra support please read and review pages 461 - 463 in your Mathlinks textbooks, and/or use the notes in the grade 8 Math Shell in D2L. 

Today's assignment is Pg 464 (#1-7)

Tuesday June 14 -  Hey everyone, today we are using class time to review. Therefore, we are working on the Chapter 12 Review. 

Today's assignment is on Pg 466 (#1 - 8)

Wednesday June 15 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 12 (TESSELLATIONS) UNIT TEST. All the best!!

Thursday June 16 -  Hey everyone, today we are reviewing for the grade 8 FINAL EXAM which is on Wednesday June 22. You can be working on:

Chapter 1-4 Review Pg 156 (#1-26)

Chapter 5-7 Review Pg 324 (#1-32)

Chapter 8-11 Review Pg 472 (#1-18)

Friday June 17 Hey everyone, today we are reviewing for the grade 8 FINAL EXAM, all the best with your studies...

You can be working on:

Chapter 8-11 Review Pg 472 (#1-18)

Grade 9

Monday June 13 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 1 UNIT TEST on Statistics and Data Analysis (sections 11.1 - 11.3. All the best!

Tuesday June 14 - We are reviewing for the Math PAT part A.

Wednesday June 15 - We are reviewing for the Math PAT part A.

Thursday June 16 -  We are reviewing for the Math PAT part A.

 Friday June 17 - Today the grade 9 students are writing the Math PAT part A. For details of this exam please review the Grade 9 PAT Bulletin on my Blog, under the grade 9 notes TAB. In short, it's a 20 question Math PAT, you get 30 minutes (or 60 minutes if you choose the extra time) and it's no calculator. Good Luck!!
