Monday May 16 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 10 UNIT TEST. All the best!
Tuesday May 17 - Hey everyone, today are starting Chapter 1 REPRESENTING DATA. We looked at defining data, interval and some conversions such as 100cm = 1m, and 12inches = 1foot. Moreover, we will be learning about the 6 types of graphs we will be using, and what each graph is best suited for.

Today's activity is on Pg 13 (#1, 3 - 6)
Wednesday May 18 - Hey everyone, today we looked at representing data with a CIRCLE graph.
A reminder that to find the percent you divide the value by the total and then you multiply by a hundred.
Also, a reminder that to find the angle of the sector in the circle you simply take the PERCENT OF THE CIRCLE, (ie; convert the percent to a decimal, and then multiply by 360 degrees.

Thursday May 19 - Hey everyone, today we looked at using MICROSOFT EXCEL to create different types of Graphs from a set of data. Also, if you want you could use the spreadsheet program in GOOGLE DRIVE to create graphs.
Today's activity is on Pg 15 (#9 -14, 16)
Friday May 20 - No School today, as this is the start of the May Long Weekend...

Tuesday May 17 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 10 QUIZ on (sections 10.1-10.2). All the best!
Wednesday May 18 - Today we are working in section 10.3, and we are looking at applying the concept of tangents within circle geometry. We will be specifically solving real-life applications of how tangents work.
Today's activity is on Pg 400 (#6-10,14,17,18,20)
Thursday May 19 - Today we are using class time to review for next weeks unit test. We are working on the:
Chapter 10 Review on Pg 404 (#1-20),
Moreover, there are a couple extra-practice worksheets you can take to study/work on over the long weekend.
