Please refer to the section 2.3 NOTES in the grade 9 notes tab on my Blog for details and for review.

Today's activity is on Pg 67 (#10-17)

Tuesday March 1 - Hey everyone, today we used class time to work on remaining questions in section 2.3 which pertain to solving problems that involve proportions.

Please refer to the section 2.3 NOTES in the grade 9 notes tab on my Blog for details and for review.

Today's activity is on Pg 68 (#18 - 28) and is due tomorrow if you didn't finish in class today.

Friday March 4 Hey everyone, today we are starting a new unit Chapter 5 (Surface Area). We are looking at the vocabulary needed in order to communicate and be successful in this unit. Moreover, we are looking at visualizing 3-D objects.

Please refer to the section 5.1 NOTES in the gr. 8 notes tab on my Blog for details and for review.

Today's activity is on Pg 164 (#1-5)

I hope you all have a great weekend! Also, a reminder that the Chapter 2 UNIT TEST is scheduled for Monday March 7.😊
Be sure to know your definitions and how to work with ratios, calculate rates (and unit rates) along with setting up and solving proportions.

Grade 9

Monday February 28 - Hey everyone, today we are completing the formal notes on Section 6.1, and we're looking at what is a linear relation and a linear equation. Moreover, we'll be looking at developing the equation from a picture (diagram) or a table of values.

-A linear relation is a pattern made by two sets of numbers that results as a straight line when graphed.

-A linear equation is an equation whose graph is a straight line.

Please refer to the Section 6.1 NOTES in the grade 9 notes section on my Blog.

Today's activity is on Pg 216 (#1,2,6-10,12, 14-17)

Tuesday March 1 - Hey everyone, today we reviewed last day's concepts and ideas. Furthermore, we looked at the strategies involved to DEVELOP THE EQUATION from a table of values.

Today's activity is last day's work on Pg 216 (#1,2,6-10,12,14-17), please complete this activity for tomorrow's math class.

Wednesday March 2 - Hey everyone, today we started section 6.2 and starting looking at interpreting graphs. Moreover, we looked at continuous graphs vs not continuous graphs. Furthermore, we looked at the process of interpolating when the graph is continuous.

Please refer to the Section 6.2 NOTES in the grade 9 notes section on my Blog.

Today's activity is on Pg 226 (#1-5)

Thursday March 3 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up section 6.2 and looked at graphing from an equation. Moreover, we looked at the process of extrapolating from graphs.

Please refer to the Section 6.2 NOTES in the grade 9 notes section on my Blog.

Today's activity is on Pg227 (#6-11)

Friday March 4 - Hey everyone, today are using class time as a work-period to wrap up section 6.2 on graphing, continuous graphs, not continuous graphs, interpolating and extrapolating.

Today's activity is on Pg 228 (#12 - 18)

I hope you all have a great weekend!  😊
