Monday January 24 - Hi everyone, today we are working to work on the Chapter 9 Review:
Today's activity is Pg 360 (#1-15)
*If you are done you can start working on the Chapter 9 Practice Test on Pg 362 (#1-10). This activity is optional and is for extra-practice.
Tuesday January 25 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 9 UNIT TEST. All the best!
Wednesday January 26 - Hi guys, today we are starting Chapter 4 (Understanding Percents). We'll be looking at the vocabulary needed to be successful in this unit. Furthermore, we'll be looking at representing and modelling percents on grids.
Today's activity is on Pg 128 (#4-16)
Thursday January 27 - Today we are starting section 4.2, and we are looking at converting fractions to decimals, and decimals to percents. Furthermore, we'll be going in the opposite direction.

Monday January 24 - Hey everyone, today we looked at a special case. We looked at 3 different rectangular prisms and what would happen to the surface area if we notched out a portion (or an entire portion) of the rectangular prism. Furthermore, we looked at calculating the surface area of a triangular prism that involved the use of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Tuesday January 25 - Hey everyone, today we are wrapping up the notes on Surface Area. Moreover, we are looking at strategies to calculate the surface area of composite shapes, and we will be calculating the area of a composite shape.

Thursday January 27 - Hey everyone, today we are using class time as a work-period and we're working on the Chapter 1 Practice Test.
Today's activity Pg 38 (#1-8)
Friday January 28 - Hey everyone, today we are starting Chapter 4 (Scale Factor & Similarities). Moreover, we will be defining what is an enlargement, reduction and scale factor. We will also be looking at what happens when the scale factor = 1, scale factor < 1, and a scale factor > 1.
***For this unit you will need: A RULER, and GRID PAPER.***
