Monday November 29 - Hi everyone, today we are starting Chapter 11 on Probability. Moreover, we will be defining some key terms needed to better communicate in this unit. Also, we will be applying the formula for calculating probability and using a tree-diagram as our strategy.
Today's activity is on Pg 416 (#1-4)
Tuesday November 30 - Hey everyone, today we are looking at organizing our sample space with a TABLE. We will also look at calculating the Probability from the table. Moreover, we will discuss what are the benefits of using tree diagram and a table.

Wednesday December 1 - Hey everyone, today we are starting section 11.2, and we'll be using class time today in exploring outcomes of the independent events.

Thursday December 2 - Hey guys, today we started section 11.2 and looked at a third strategy when finding the number of possible outcomes. We learned that we can multiply the number of outcomes per independent event to find out the total number of possible outcomes.

Monday November 29 - Hey everyone, today we are starting Chapter 7 (Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials). We created a formula sheet where we developed all of the area and volume formula's needed for this unit.

Tuesday November 30 - Hey everyone, today we reviewed last day's work with the circle inscribed in a square and its RATIO. Moreover, we learned two strategies when multiplying a monomial. We used an algebraic method and algebra tiles. The concept is quite simple: multiple the coefficients and multiply the variables.

Today's activity is on Pg 259 (#1, 3-8)
Wednesday December 1 - Hey guys, today we looked at dividing a monomial with a monomial. We looked at using 2 methods. One being algebra, and the other using algebra tiles. The idea is simple: When dividing monomials, divide the coefficients and then divide the variables. Furthermore, we applied monomial division through a problem.

Friday December 3 - Hey everyone, today we are starting section 7.2 and we'll be looking at multiplying a monomial with a polynomial. The 2 strategies that we will be learning include using an area model and algebra tiles.
