Below is the Math AGENDA for the week of Monday October 25 - Friday October 29 for my Grade 8 & 9 Math classes:
Grade 8
Monday October 25 - Hey everyone today we are wrapping up section 6.5 and learned the rule when dividing mixed numbers together. Moreover, we looked at applying mixed number division through a word-problem.
Today's activity is on Pg 227 (#7-12,14,17,19,20,23). This activity is due on Wednesday October 27.
Tuesday October 26 -Today we are writing the Chapter 6 QUIZ (on sections 6.1 - 6.4). Please make sure you know your definitions and how to apply fraction multiplication and division.
Wednesday October 27 - Hey everyone, today we started section 6.6 and looked at applying multiple operations that involve fractions. We reviewed BEDMAS, and we did a mini-lesson on adding and subtracting fractions. For additional support with these ideas please see the links to some videos on my notes.
Today's activity is on Pg 233 (#1 - 5)
Today's activity is on Pg 234 (#6 - 13) and #14 is Bonus (-optional)
Today's activity is the Chapter 6 Review on Pg 236 (#1-27).
**A reminder that the Chapter 6 UNIT TEST is on Tuesday November 2, 2021

Monday October 25 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 3 QUIZ on sections 3.1 - 3.2. All the best!
Tuesday October 26 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up section 3.3 and looked at solving questions that involved various operations. Remember, the order in which you solve the question matters and that we have the acronym BEDMAS to help guide that process.
Today's activity is on Pg 111 (#8 - 19)
Wednesday October 27 - Today we are starting section 3.4 and we'll be looking at how to develop the formula when solving problems that involve exponents.
Today's activity is on Pg 118 (#1-4)
Thursday October 28 - Hi everyone, today we spent some time looking at developing the formula for scenario's that involve powers and exponents. Please refer to your notes for the details.

Friday October 29 - Hey everyone, today we went over how to convert specific units from one measurement to another. For example how to change m to Km, g to Kg, etc... Moreover, we are using the class time to work on the:
Chapter 3 Review on Pg 120 (#1- 22)
