Grade 8
Monday September 20 - Hi everyone, today we are wrapping up section 8.3 and we will be applying specific strategies to solve word problems that involve integer division.
Today's activity is on Pg 305 (#9-16)
Tuesday September 21 - Hey everyone, today we started section 8.4 and looked at how to divide integers using the number line. Moreover, we learned what the sign rule is when dividing integers.
Please refer to the section 8.4 NOTES in the gr. 8 notes tab on my Blog for details.
Today's activity is on Pg 306 (#1-6)
Wednesday September 22 - Hey everyone, today all of the grade 8 classes will be partaking in watching a video in Math and Science class.
Friday September 24 - Hey everyone, today there is no school as it's a non-instructional day.

Grade 9
Monday September 20 - Today we are starting section 2.3, and we are looking at working with rational numbers in their fraction form (ie: multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting fractions).
Today's activity is on Pg 67 (#1 - 6). This assignment is due on Wednesday morning, as you should be studying/reviewing for tomorrow's quiz.
Tuesday September 21 - Today we are writing the Chapter 2 QUIZ on sections 2.1 - 2.2. {Understanding the Real Number System, comparing numbers in different forms, finding numbers within numbers, converting fractions to decimals and visa-versa, and computations with decimal numbers}. All the best!
Wednesday September 22 - Hey everyone, today all of the grade 9 classes will be partaking in watching the video in Math and Science class.
Thursday September 23 - Today we will be wrapping up the notes from Section 2.3, and we will be looking at application (real world) problems that involve fraction operations.
Today's activity is on Pg 68 (#7 - 12)
Friday September 24 - Hey everyone, today there is no school as it's a non-instructional day.
