Monday May 31 - Hey everyone, today are reviewing and working on the Chapter 1 Practice Test. 

Today's assignment is Pg 38 (#1-10) and is due tomorrow if you don't finish in class.

Tuesday June 1 - Hey everyone, today are writing the Chapter 1 UNIT TEST. All the best!

Wednesday June 2 - Hey everyone, today we are starting a new unit: Chapter 12 TESSELLATIONS. We'll be looking at vocabulary needed for this unit and we will be looking at defining polygons and the distinction between regular and irregular polygons.

Today's assignment is on Pg 449 (1,2,4,6,7)

Thursday June 3 - Hey everyone, today we are continuing to work on section 12.1 and looking at better understanding Tessellations and how they are created.

Today's activity is on Pg 450 (#8 - 10, 13,14)

Friday June 4 Hey everyone, today we are staring section 12.2 and we'll be looking at two types of Tessellations. We are specifically looking at Tessellations that are formed by translations and reflections.

Monday May 31 - Hey everyone, today wrapping up the Chapter 4 Review. 

Today's assignment is on Pg 161 (#10 - 18)

Tuesday June 1 - Hey everyone, today we are using class time as a work-period to review for tomorrow's unit test and we'll be working on the Chapter 4 Practice Test. 

Today's activity is on Pg 162 (#1 - 15)

Wednesday June 2 - Hey everyone, today we are writing the Chapter 4 UNIT TEST. All the best!!

Thursday June 3 - Hey everyone, today we are staring a new unit: Chapter 1 (Symmetry & Surface Area). Being that we've completed the surface area component. We'll be only be completing the symmetry part(s). We are defining symmetry, lines of symmetry and the different types of lines of symmetry.

Today's activity is the "alphabet symmetry" worksheet. The instructions are outlined in the section 1.1 notes above.


Friday June 4 - Hey guys, today we are going over the alphabet symmetry activity from yesterday. Moreover, we learned about the 3 methods to reflect images. 1) Paper folding, 2) Using a Mira, and 3) Using grid paper.
