Monday April 19 - Hey everyone, today we are reviewing for the Chapter 5 UNIT TEST on Surface Area. The Ch. 5 Unit Test will be open tomorrow morning at 8am and you will have until Thursday at 8pm to write it.
Please use the remainder of today's class to work on the Chapter 5 Review, Practice test and the extra-practice worksheets.
Tuesday April 20 - Hey everyone, today we are starting a new unit Chapter 7 (VOLUME). We will be looking at defining volume, the units, and how to calculate volume of prisms by using the general formula of: Volume = Area of the base x height.

Today's activity is on Pg 250 (#1, 3-6)

Thursday April 22 - Hey everyone, today we are starting section 7.2, and we are looking at developing the specific formula to calculate the volume of prisms and more specifically the cube and rectangular prism.

Today's activity is on Pg 258 (#1-6)

Friday April 23 - Hey guys, today we are looking at developing the specific formula to calculate the volume of a triangular prism. Moreover, we will be looking at calculating the volume of a a triangular prism.

Tuesday April 20 - Hey everyone, today we are starting Chapter 7 (Multiplying and Dividing Polynomials). We created a formula sheet where we developed all of the area and volume formula's needed for this unit.

Wednesday April 21 - Hey everyone, today we reviewed last day's work with the circle inscribed in a square and its RATIO. Moreover, we learned two strategies when multiplying a monomial. We used an algebraic method and algebra tiles. The concept is quite simple: multiple the coefficients and multiply the variables.

Thursday April 22 - Hey guys, today we looked at dividing a monomial with a monomial. We looked at using 2 methods. One being algebra, and the other using algebra tiles. The idea is simple: When dividing monomials, divide the coefficients and then divide the variables. Furthermore, we applied monomial division through a problem.
