Grade 8
Monday February 8 - Hey everyone, today we are working in section 10.3 and looking at solving 2-step equations that are of the form x/a + b = c using ALGEBRA.
Remember, when solving a 2-step equation:
Isolate the variable, by performing the opposite operation to both sides of the equation. Remembering to:
1st: Perform the adding/subtracting
2nd: Perform the multiplying/dividing

Today's activity is on Pg 392 (#8-11)
Tuesday February 9 - Hey everyone, today we are using class time as a work-period to wrap up section 10.3, and using the remainder of the time to prepare and study for tomorrow's quiz. Moreover, there were a few extra-practice worksheets to do for review.

Wednesday February 10 - Hey guys, today we are writing the Chapter 10 QUIZ which will include sections 10.1-10.3. Make sure you know how to solve 1 and 2 step equations Algebraically and make sure you know the strategies involved to solve word-problems that require 1 or 2 steps. All the best!!

Monday February 8 - Hey everyone, today we started section 6.2 and starting looking at interpreting graphs. Moreover, we looked at continuous graphs vs not continuous graphs. Furthermore, we looked at the process of interpolating when the graph is continuous.

Tuesday February 9 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up section 6.2 and looked at graphing from an equation. Moreover, we looked at the process of extrapolating from graphs.
