Grade 8
Monday January 18 - Hey everyone, today we are starting section 9.3 and we'll be looking at using a formula to graph the relationship. In order to do this, you take the formula and build a table and choose some numbers to put in the table of values. Then you will use the ordered pairs as your coordinates on the graph.

Today's activity is on Pg 356 (#1-6)
Tuesday January 19 - Hey everyone, today we continuing to work in section 9.3 and we are looking at taking an equation and graphing it. Please remember that you need to build a table, pick some values to put into the table and then use the ordered pairs to plot the points on the graph.

Wednesday January 20 - Hey guys, today we are writing the Chapter 9 QUIZ on sections 9.1 - 9.2.

Thursday January 21 - Hey everyone, today we using class time as a work-period to wrap up section 9.3.

Tuesday January 19 - Hey everyone, today we are using class time to wrap up section 9.1.

Today's activity is on Pg 348 (#20-25)
Wednesday January 20 - Hey everyone, today are staring section 9.2 and we are looking at solving linear equations that require one or two steps using an algebraic method. (Similar to how we solved equations in Chapter 8). Moreover, we'll be looking at graphing the solution(s) on a number line and verifying the solution to the linear inequality.

Thursday January 21 - Hey everyone, today we are looking at solving word problems and real world problems that involve the use of linear inequalities. Furthermore, we will be modelling the solution on a number line.

Today's activity is on Pg 358 (#14-23)
Friday January 22 - Today we are starting section 9.3, and we'll be looking at solving multi-step inequalities and the strategies involved. Furthermore, we will be looking at solving real world word problems that involve setting up a linear inequality.
