Monday December 7 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up the notes on Section 8.5. Moreover, we looked at an application question that involves multiple integer operations. We also looked at the Mean (Average) and how to calculate the MEAN.

Today's activity is on Pg 315 (#8, 10-17,20,21)
Tuesday December 8 - Hey everyone, today we are reviewing the unit, and we are working on:
The Chapter 8 REVIEW on Pg 318 (#1-11)
Furthermore, the Chapter 8 QUIZ #2 will be available for you to write today (Dec 8) at 5pm, and you will have until Thursday (Dec 10) until 8pm to write the quiz. Moreover, all of the details about the quiz and how to access the quiz can be found in D2L. Please READ the announcement in D2L before you start your quiz.
Wednesday December 9 - Hey guys, today we are using class time to wrap up the questions in the Chapter 8 Review:
Today's activity is on Pg 319 (#12 - 24)
***Also, please note that you have all day today to write the Chapter 8 QUIZ #2.
Thursday December 10 - Today we are wrapping up Chapter 8 (Integer Operations) and we are working on either:
1) Writing the Ch. 8 QUIZ #2 if you haven't written it yet.
2) Or you can be working on the Chapter 8 Practice Test on Pg 320 (#1-12, 16,17). *Optional
***Please make note that you also have today to write the Chapter 8 QUIZ #2. The quiz will be open until 8pm, thereafter it will be closed and you will not have an additional opportunity to write it.
Friday December 11 - Hi everyone, today we are starting Chapter 11 on Probability. Moreover, we will be defining some key terms needed to better communicate in this unit. Also, we will be applying the formula for calculating probability and using a tree-diagram as our strategy.
Today's activity is on Pg 416 (#1-4)

Monday December 7 - Hey everyone, today we are wrapping up the section 1.3 questions on calculating the surface area of varying composite shapes.

Furthermore, the Surface Area QUIZ #1 will be available for you to write today (Dec 7) at 5pm, and you will have until Wednesday (Dec 9) until 8pm to write the quiz. Tuesday December 8 - Hey everyone, today you have an opportunity to do one of the following:
1) Write the Surface Area QUIZ #1

Wednesday December 9 - Hey everyone, today we are starting a new unit, Chapter 8 SOLVING LINEAR EQUATIONS. Moreover, we will be reviewing fraction operations, and looking at solving 1-step equations.

Today's activity is on Pg 292 (#1-4)

Thursday December 10 - Hey everyone, today we are looking at solving equations that involve one-step, and are of the form a/x = b. How to solve equations when the variable is in the denominator position.

Today's activity is on Pg 301 (#2-7).
Friday December 11 - Today we are applying the concept of solving equations that involve word problems, and real-world applications. Moreover, we will be looking at implementing different strategies to solve the various problems.
