Monday November 30 - Hey everyone, today we started learning online. Moreover, we started section 8.4 and looked at how to divide integers using the number line. Moreover, we learned what the sign rule is when dividing integers.

Today's activity is on Pg 306 (#1-6)
Tuesday December 1 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up the section 8.4 notes. We looked at solving an application problem that involved the division of Integers.

Today's activity is on Pg 310 (#2, 5-10)
Wednesday December 2 - Hey guys, today we are using class time to wrap up the questions in section 8.4.
Today's activity is on Pg 310 (#11-19,22)
Furthermore, the Chapter 8 QUIZ will be available for you to write today (Dec 2) at 5pm, and you will have until Friday (Dec 4) until 8pm to write the quiz. Moreover, all of the details about the quiz and how to access the quiz can be found in D2L. Please READ the announcement before you start your quiz.
Thursday December 3 - Today we are starting section 8.5, and we will be looking at applying Order of Operations that involve Integers. Also recall BEDMAS to support with this concept.

Monday November 30 - Hey everyone, today we started learning online. Moreover, we started our section on Surface Area. Today we went over the idea of Area and Perimeter. Furthermore we developed the formula's for various 2-D shapes (Polygons).

Today's activity is the 5 Questions on the last page of the notes (Pre-surface area notes)
Tuesday December 1 - Hey everyone, today we looked at various 3-D shapes and their names. Moreover, we looked at finding the surface area of a cube, rectangular prism and a cylinder. We also looked at developing the Surface Area formula for a cylinder.

Today's activity is on Pg 31 (#2-7)
Wednesday December 2 - Hey everyone, today we looked at a special case. We looked at 3 different rectangular prisms and what would happen to the surface area if we notched out a portion (or an entire portion) of the rectangular prism. Furthermore, we looked at calculating the surface area of a triangular prism that involved the use of the Pythagorean Theorem.

Today's activity is on Pg 33 (#8-12)
Thursday December 3 - Hey everyone, today we are wrapping up the notes on Surface Area. Moreover, we are looking at strategies to calculate the surface area of composite shapes, and we will be calculating the area of a composite shape.
