Grade 8
Monday November 23 - Today we re-capped how to add & subtract integers, moreover we looked at multiplying using integer chips. In addition to this, we looked at how to solve a word-problem that involved integer multiplication.
Today's activity is on Pg 291 (#11- 19), and #20 is bonus (optional)
Tuesday November 24 - Hey everyone, today we started section 8.2 and we looked at how to multiply integers using a number line and the sign rules. Please refer to your notes from class today to see how this is done.
The assignment is on Pg 296 (#1, 3-11)
Wednesday November 25 - Hey everyone, today we wrapped up section 8.2 and applied integer multiplication through solving word problems.
Today's activity is on Pg 297 (#12 - 29)
Thursday November 26 - Hi guys, today we will start section 8.3 and learning how to divide integers with a model (ie: integer chips)
Today's activity is on Pg 303 (#1, 3-7)
Friday November 27 - Hi everyone, today we are wrapping up section 8.3 and we will be applying specific strategies to solve word problems that involve integer division.
Today's activity is on Pg 305 (#9-16)

Monday November 23 - Hey everyone, today we went over the concept of squaring and taking the square root. Moreover, we went over an application question that involves squaring and square roots and multi-steps.
Today's activity is on Pg 79 (#20 - 36 evens).

Wednesday November 25 - Hi everyone, if you've finished the Review from yesterday you can work on the:
Chapter 2 Practice Test on Pg 84 (#1 - 18)
Thursday November 26 - Today we are writing the Chapter 2 UNIT TEST. All the best!
Friday November 27 - Today we are starting a new Topic: Surface Area
Today we will be defining area, determining the formulas for the area of some basic shapes, and defining composite shapes.
